On Sunday we got up early and huddled around a tiny marquee outside Bunnings Belmont to bring sausages to the masses! Last time we raised enough money to purchase lighting equipment so we were aiming for a new sound system this time. As the rain kept coming, so did the people!

Chris was the grill-King, sizzling those sausages and onions with great skill. We started off with Siobhan keeping us ship-shape, Elisa’s customer service skills were perfect as she sweetly up-selled drinks, Andrew was chopping onions whilst warding off jokes about his resemblence to Justin Timberlake, Laura was the bun lady and Kieran stood out the front with an umbrella trying to keep customers dry while they purchased a snag!

We had several shift changes throughout the day – Carlos came in and swiftly started chopping onions like a boss! (We all forgot that he is a chef until we saw him in action!) Tash took over as the bun lady and Sarah, Sally and Lisa took the helm for the afternoon.

All in all it was a huge success raising $1330 for the purchase of a whiz-bang sound system!
